This will be the finish to a full 2 months on the road. We meet Shannon, Brian and Ben at Todd's cabin on Deka Lake for the last few days of our vacation. Brian and Ben are here to refinish the deck and the rest of us are here to cut a slug of firewood. Oh, and we plan on having a little R & R at the same time. The weather is beautiful.
This is a hummingbird moth. Very interesting, we have only seen these at the lake.
Out for a ride on the quad.
Getting all the grass cut.
Hauling blocks of wood.
Together we cut, hauled, split and stacked about 2 cords of wood.
He is in his element when he's out running the chain saw.
Just getting started on the deck.
The results, almost finished.
Breeding Monarch butterflies.
And of course, the puzzle that kept everyone busy when we weren't working.
You certainly had a great (and a varied) adventure! I hope your next trip unveils even more new and undiscovered treasurers. Enjoy what remains of the summer and hopefully we'll meet up again on our travels. Also, thanks for keeping us updated on your awesome blog! *hugs*
