Hells Gate State Park, Idaho

Most of the state parks don't expect you to check out until 1:00 so you still have lots of time to explore which is what we were going to do on our bikes. Unfortunately not long into our explorations, my rear tire decided to explode!  I guess we didn't get all those thorns out. Yikes! Oh well, we just had to leave a little earlier then planned from the Grande Coulee.

Doing up some laundry.

We have set up camp at Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston for the next 2 nights.  This park is situated right on the Snake River and there are bike paths all over.  It's a very bike friendly community.

We spend the next day riding around town and exploring some thrift shops; my favorite thing to do. We've been eating very sensibly and getting lots of exercise so far.

Brother Ron would be proud of Richard's latest find.
