Utah Lake State Park

Pretty much an uneventful day other than getting my blog posting up to date. That was exciting. And I got some cards mailed off. Funny story.....our GPS took us to Franklin, Utah to find a post office. Well we are right in front of a very neat little home so it think, well this could be the post office.... You never know in these little hamlets.  So I knock on the door and a little lady comes to the door with her little dog and directs me to the post office down the street. We have a little chuckle and a hug and I go to the real post office.  

Don't you know that I find another thrift store in Preston and find yet another treasure trove.

In Logan and in Brigham City we stop to admire the beautiful LDS temples and tabernacles. LDS churches in Utah are like Starbucks in Vancouver and Tim Hortons in Prince George to quote my lovely sister.

We have set up camp just outside Provo, Utah at Utah Lake State Park. 

We managed to book 5 days in the vicinity of Zion and Bryce Canyon for the next 5 days.  It will be good to put down some roots for awhile.
